Hallmarking

A Hallmark is an official mark or series of marks struck on items made of metal, mostly to certify the content of noble metals—such as platinum, gold, silver and in some nations, palladium. 

It’s a legal requirement in the UK for silver over 7.78g, gold and palladium over 1g, and platinum over 0.5g to have a UK recognised hallmark. 

Memor Jewellery follows this guideline and we have a makers mark registered with the London Assay Office.
